Role Description:

The Armed Patrol Officer role is a full-time, on-site position. Armed Patrol Officers are responsible for conducting regular foot and/or vehicle patrols, monitoring premises for suspicious activity, and ensuring adherence to site-specific security procedures. Daily tasks include responding to alarms and incidents, documenting observations and reports, and coordinating with emergency services or law enforcement when necessary. Patrol Officers also interact with clients, visitors, and the public, providing directions, assistance, and clear communication to maintain a safe and orderly environment. The role requires consistent visibility on-site, professional conduct, and adherence to company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

 

• Strong Physical Security skills, including patrolling, access control, and incident prevention.

• Background or familiarity with Law Enforcement practices and coordination with Emergency Services.

• Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and the public.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure, assess risks quickly, and respond appropriately to safety concerns.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security or safety certifications are preferred.

• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and work varying shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.

• Clean driving record and, where required, eligibility to obtain or maintain applicable security licenses or permits.

• Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following procedures.
