Role Description:

 

The Armed Security Supervisor is a full-time, on-site responsible for overseeing armed security personnel and daily security operations. This position monitors security posts, ensures adherence to company policies and safety protocols, and conducts routine inspections of sites and equipment. The supervisor prepares shift schedules, assigns duties, and provides guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. Daily tasks include responding to incidents, writing clear reports, coordinating with clients and law enforcement when needed, and maintaining a visible, professional security presence. The role also involves resolving customer concerns, supporting training initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement of security procedures.

Qualifications

 

• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance oversight, and shift coordination.

• Candidates should possess solid Physical Security skills, including access control, incident response, and patrol procedures.

• Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.

• Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to manage schedules, documentation, and compliance with security protocols.

• Current or eligible armed security license and ability to meet all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrated experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field, with prior leadership responsibility preferred.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure, make sound decisions, and maintain high ethical standards.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs require.
